The Reviews Are In!

Under the Knife by Laurin Kelly is a debut novel unlike any other first romance book you’ve ever read, and I say that in the best way possible. First of all, you won’t believe she isn’t a seasoned author without an extensive backlist.

...there's real charm in the loving and detailed descriptions of both the romance and the food. Kelly takes a refreshingly matter-of-fact approach to the widely diverse supporting characters, who are well developed as individuals without ever stealing the spotlight.

This is such a nice take on a classic myth. It has a lovely HEA ending that makes you fall for these characters as much as they fall for one another...It kept me invested the whole way through—invested in Adam’s loneliness, in Jin’s quiet contemplation. It’s an excellent feat for such a short story!
